A Mac app for macOS notifications
macOS gives you one notification banner and one place to put it. Keron intercepts every banner the system draws and replaces it with the one you made — your layout, your type, your colors, your corner of the screen.
What it is
Keron opens a canvas with a live banner on it. Drag the icon somewhere else. Resize the title. Change the font, the weight, the tracking, the color, the corner radius, the background. Hide the parts you never read. What you build is what every notification on your Mac looks like from then on.

Six elements make up a banner — app icon, app name, title, message, timestamp and the close button. Select any one on the canvas and drag it, resize it, or turn it off entirely. The inspector on the right exposes everything else: the box's size, corner radius, fill, tint, border and blur, an optional background image, and per-element font family, size, weight, color, alignment, letter-spacing, uppercasing, line limit and opacity.

Nine positions — the corners, the edges, dead center — plus pixel-level X and Y nudges to land it exactly where you want. Each display remembers its own placement, and you can pin every banner to one monitor or have them follow whichever screen you're working on. Keron also knows to stay clear of the Notification Center panel and your desktop widgets.

One design is the default; anything else is an exception. Group the apps you care about — Messages and Mail together, say — and give that group its own design and its own place on screen. Pick members from every app installed on your Mac, or from the catalog of system notifications. Groups own their apps exclusively, so a banner is never ambiguous about which design it belongs to.

Eight entrance animations — Default, Fade, Scale, Bounce, Drop, Slide, Rise and Swing. Silence, one of the built-in macOS sounds, or an audio file of your own. Set how long a banner lingers before it dismisses itself, globally or per design. And tell Keron when to stay out of the way: snooze it for a while, pause it during a Focus mode, pause it while you're screen sharing, or hold notifications until your Mac wakes up.

Export a design as a single .json file. It carries everything — the box,
every element, the animation, and the actual bytes of your custom sound and background
image — so it works on any Mac that opens it, with nothing else to install. Save
presets of your whole setup, and back up or restore all of Keron's settings the same
way.

Keron lives in the menu bar. Close its window and the Dock icon goes with it while the engine keeps running; open it again from Spotlight whenever you want to change something. Hide the menu bar icon too if you'd rather not see it, and have it start automatically at login so your banners look right from the moment you sign in.

Keron reads your notifications to redraw them, and that is where it ends — in memory, on your machine. No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no servers to talk to.
